Amanda began her career at age 12 recording children's albums and winning school choir competitions at her local middle school in Northern California. She progressed through her teen years working with vocal coaches, producers and song collaborators to sharpen her singing and recording skills. Through a journey of musical discovery, Amanda recorded tracks in genres such as rock, hip-hop, R&B and country until she eventually found her way to pop music.

In 2006 at the age of 18, Amanda released her debut album "Butterfly in a Blizzard" on the Rufftown label. Her first single "Will You Still Love Me" rose quickly up the iTunes charts and the music video release was soon to follow. Her success was not to last however. Internal disputes with the Rufftown label led Amanda to seek out a new label.

Amanda eventually found her way to a small independent label, AMSEA Group, Inc. In the fall of 2007 Amanda began work on her followup album and began collaborating with songwriters and producers until she had demo'd a collection of songs for the album.

Swedish producers Thomas Johanson and Ronald Malmberg were brought into the project to bang out tracks that would give the pop flavor Amanda was looking for. The tracks were then sent to New York to be mixed by Grammy Award winning mixer & engineer Mick Guzauski (Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, J-Lo, Britney Spears).

"For Your Love" was finally released in February 2009 as Amanda is preparing for a promotional tour that will include live performances and radio & television appearances. The first single from the album "Don't Let Go" is soon to be followed up by the music video
